Jelly Rolls and Rolie Polies

A jelly roll or rolie polie is a 2-1/2 inch strip by width of fabric roll of fabric that includes typically 42 strips of fabric. Please note that in jelly rolls of smaller collections there may be multiples of one fabric design in the roll. These are great for jelly roll rugs or many patterns that are created specifically for using a jelly roll. The only difference is Moda Fabrics calls these strips jelly rolls and Riley Blake Designs refers to them as rolie polies. Otherwise, there is no difference.
